Doing the happy dance!

I lost a pound! I lost a pound! My measurements last night were less this time too! I know that I wasn't supposed to measure/weigh till later but I couldn't wait. I had to measure.
I weigh myself every night before I leave the gym. They have the "scientific" scale that is supposed to be uber accurate. Well, last night I was 166 and tonight I was 165. I'm back on my salads only lunch diet and Richie and I have put ourselves on strict "no eating out" diets. For financial reasons and weight issues.
The elliptical always makes me so uncomfortable and my personal goal is to be able to do my minimum of 5 miles of cardio (each night) on the the elliptical. I normally last about 3 minutes before bailing out in pain. I made it a half mile, or 7 minutes, tonight. So I was proud with that accomplishment!
I then hopped on the bike and did 4.5 miles , 0r 23 minutes. So I still did my 5 miles in 30 minutes tonight. Every night I work my abs, butt, thighs and arms. Since my leg "injury" I'm not able to do the treadmill anymore. We're still not sure what I did by the front on my shins are bloody sore. It's almost like I fractured a bone....but that just doesn't make sense.
I'm so motivated. I found out tonight that there is a cadio ballet class starting on Wednesdays in February in Herrin. It's $8 a class, so I may try that instead of yoga, or in addition. And just for my husband's clarification, taking yoga or cardio ballet does not take the place of the gym. I will continue the gym workouts. So there! :)
